Joe Saltalamachia
Joe and his wife have lived in Unity for over 34 years. Previous to Real Estate, Joe worked in higher education for 20 years, as Director and Associate Director of Admissions at Unity College. Joe recruited students from all over the country to study and work in the fields of environmental science, law enforcement, and sustainability.
Before his work with the college, Joe worked as an Associate Director and Producer of outdoor television shows for Ursus Productions, formerly of Waterville. Joe also spent time working for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife as a Wildlife Biologist. His extensive experience in the outdoor and environmental world makes him a tremendous asset to any buyer looking at land, interested in Maine wildlife, or local fisheries. Joe is a 1994 graduate of Unity College.
In his spare time, Joe writes for the Maine Sportsman Magazine, hunts, fishes, camps, and hikes all over our state. When he's not working with a client, you can find Joe working with his dogs, in preparation for the fall bird season,s or with his wife, checking out the regional food and drink scene in Maine. Joe built his own home in 2004, so he's familiar with the residential construction process, local builders, and building supply companies.
